Autumn Night Wine Festival Showcased at 'Global Wine and Food Trip'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] From the 16th for two days, the 'Global Wine and Food Trip' held at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul, offers a chance to enjoy a variety of wines from around the world along with perfectly paired foods all in one place. Many renowned domestic wine importers will also participate, showcasing numerous wines.
According to Asia Economy on the 13th, Lotte Chilsung Beverage is participating in this Global Wine and Food Trip to present location wines by Dave Phinney, the founder of the famous California wine maker 'Orin Swift' in the United States.
The location wines introduced this time are blended wines named after alphabet initials. First, 'Locations CA' is a wine blended with grapes from Napa Valley, featuring rich and smooth tannins along with attractive blackberry nuances. 'Locations E' is a blend of grapes from Spain's Priorat and Rioja regions, offering appealing flavors of ripe plum and spices.
'Locations F' and 'Locations F Ros?' are also presented. Locations F blends grapes from France's Rh?ne, Languedoc-Roussillon, and Bordeaux regions, characterized by wild strawberry aromas, lively acidity, and tannins. Locations F Ros? is a classic French Provence ros? wine expressing fresh aromas of grapefruit and melon. 'Locations I' is a blend of grapes from Italy's Piedmont and southern Puglia regions, harmonizing soft oak hints with black cherry aromas.
Wines from 'Grant Burge' in the Barossa region, a famous Australian wine area, are also showcased. Grant Burge is a family-run winery since 1855 and is the second-largest brand in production volume in the Barossa region, producing 500,000 cases annually.
One of the representative products, 'Grant Burge Philsel Barossa Old Vine Shiraz,' features a rich and deep dark crimson color, complex aromas of vanilla cream and plum, and a harmonious balance between oak and fruit flavors. It is characterized by pure fruit sweetness and smoothness that fills the palate.
