[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The 'Yeoninsan Forest Playground' has opened in Yeoninsan Provincial Park, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
Covering a total area of 10,000㎡ along Yongchu Valley, the 'Yeoninsan Forest Playground' is a facility designed to help children experience the pristine nature through various play activities using their five senses, promoting physical development, emotional stability, and the formation of nature-friendly values.
All facilities preserve the natural appearance and are made of wood and ropes, featuring Gather Bench, One-legged Crossing, Goblin Band, Indian House, Forest Swing, Sand Playground, and Swing Bridge Crossing.
Most of the wood used in creating the forest playground was recycled from trees that fell due to natural disasters such as heavy rain within Yeoninsan Provincial Park.
The Yeoninsan Forest Playground is free to use.
