Nexon's New Head: Late Kim Jung-ju's Wife Yoo Jeong-hyun Completes Share Inheritance
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Following the completion of the inheritance process of shares owned by the late Kim Jung-ju, founder of Nexon and NXC director, who passed away last February, his wife Yoo Jung-hyun, auditor of NXC, has inherited the position of the head of the group.
On the 8th, Nexon's holding company NXC announced that 1,963,000 shares (67.49% stake) of NXC held under the name of founder Kim were inherited by auditor Yoo and their two daughters.
Before the inheritance, auditor Yoo held a 29.43% stake in NXC. With the inheritance of 132,890 shares, her stake increased to 34.00%. This made her the largest shareholder of NXC and the head of Nexon.
The two children, who each held 19,750 shares (0.68%), inherited 895,305 shares each, resulting in a 30.78% stake in NXC for each.
