The blood donation certificates donated by Hyosung employees after donating blood will be delivered to the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association to be used for children patients with leukemia and pediatric cancer.
With the social distancing measures due to COVID-19 lifted, about 50 employees participated in this event held for the first time in three years.
An employee who participated in the blood donation said, “It’s not easy to take time separately to go donate blood, so this was a good opportunity to volunteer,” and added, “I feel proud to have donated blood for the first time in three years since COVID-19.”
Hyosung’s ‘Love Blood Donation’ has been held since 2008 and is carried out through the voluntary participation of employees. Blood donation events are regularly held not only at the headquarters but also at major regional business sites such as Ulsan, Gumi, Yongyeon, and Changwon.
