The event, hosted by the Changwon Volunteer Organizations Council, gathered council members to personally package Songpyeon to share warm kindness with neighbors in need during the traditional Korean holiday of Chuseok. The packaged Songpyeon will be delivered to 500 low-income households within the district.
Jeon Tae-wan, president of the Changwon Volunteer Organizations Council, said, “I hope this warm gesture will provide some comfort to our neighbors who spend a lonely holiday due to economic difficulties and make the holiday heartwarming.”
