Yoon Byung-tae, Mayor of Naju, to Appear on KBC Broadcasting Special Interview on the 7th

[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Yoon Byung-tae, mayor of Naju City, Jeollanam-do, will appear on a special interview program on KBC Broadcasting ahead of the national holiday Chuseok.

The city announced on the 6th that the KBC special broadcast "Listening to the Mayor of the 8th Elected Term," featuring Mayor Yoon Byung-tae of Naju, will air on the 7th from 6:20 PM.

The city conducted a pre-recording on the 30th of last month at Naju Geumseonggwan, hosted by KBC announcer Je Chang-ju.

In this interview, Mayor Yoon talks about his motivation for running for mayor, the main policies and goals of the 8th elected term administration, his beliefs about field-centered administration, and solutions to current issues.

He also shares his views on major policies and issues such as the homestay meetings that directly visit citizens' daily lives, the creation of Yeongsan River National Garden, strategies to revitalize the old downtown's history, culture, and tourism, securing national budgets for ongoing projects, resolving the SRF combined heat and power plant issue, and recovering the stagnant local economy.

The interview features panelist Ye Seong-gu, standing advisor of Korea Energy Engineering University, who served as the chairman of the transition committee for the 8th elected term mayor of Naju.

Advisor Ye explains the meaning of the "Naju Great Transformation" advocated by the transition committee, the operation of the citizen suggestion box, the publication of the white paper, and offers suggestions on the main policies and issues of the 8th elected term administration.
