"Open Mirae Asset Stock Account via KakaoBank App"
Initial Investment Support Fund of 10,000 KRW Provided at Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] It will soon be possible to open a Mirae Asset Securities stock account through the KakaoBank application (app).
KakaoBank announced on the 6th that it has added Mirae Asset Securities to the list of securities firms available for stock account opening services. As a result, the number of securities firms where users can open stock accounts via the KakaoBank app has increased to seven, including Korea Investment & Securities, NH Investment & Securities, KB Securities, Hana Securities, Shinhan Financial Investment, and Samsung Securities.
Customers can select a deposit and withdrawal account to link with their stock account, set an account password, and then apply for stock account opening after completing authentication.
A partnership commemorative event will also be held. Customers who open a Mirae Asset Securities stock account for the first time through the KakaoBank app by the end of next month will receive an investment support fund of 10,000 KRW. Preferential benefits on domestic stock and online trading fees will also be provided.
Additionally, up to $110 (approximately 150,000 KRW) will be paid based on goal achievement through Mirae Asset Securities’ mobile app M-STOCK. Related details can be checked on the KakaoBank app or the Mirae Asset Securities app.
