According to Korea Electric Power Corporation Jeju Headquarters, as of 1 a.m. on the 6th, a total of 7,968 households experienced power outages, of which 1,241 households have been restored. A total of 6,727 households, including 532 households in Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju City, are still experiencing power outages.
According to Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters, a total of 154 emergency rescue operations were carried out from the 4th to 1 a.m. on the same day. These include 11 rescues (14 people), 103 safety measures, and 40 drainage supports (398 tons).
On the afternoon of the 5th, emergency measures were taken after roof facilities at Nohyeong Middle School in Jeju City were blown off by strong winds. In Hwabuk 1-dong, a huge street tree trunk broke and covered the road, and in Orai-dong, a fallen street tree damaged the power lines on a nearby utility pole.
Power outage damage also continued in Jeollanam-do. On the 6th, in Munnae-myeon, Haenam, electricity supply was temporarily cut off, causing power outages in 801 households. Including the power outage incidents, a total of 38 typhoon-related damage reports were received in Jeollanam-do by 3 a.m., and measures are being taken.
At around 2:57 a.m., water overflowed and flooded the basement of a factory located in Mipyeong-dong, Yeosu City, prompting the fire authorities to take drainage and safety measures. Earlier, at around 2:50 a.m., a road in Yeocheon-dong, Yeosu, was flooded, making vehicle passage impossible, and drainage measures were taken following the report.
Coastal damage also occurred. The ferry terminal in Yeri, Heuksando, Sinan, was damaged over an area of about 400㎡, with local government estimates of property damage amounting to 100 million won.

View original imageIn Gwangju, four incidents were reported, including two fallen street trees in Yongbong-dong and Unam-dong, and one apartment window detachment. The Gwangju Fire Headquarters took on-site measures for all reported cases.
Power outages also occurred in Busan. According to Korea Electric Power Corporation Busan Headquarters, as of 1 a.m. on the same day, power outages due to strong winds occurred in 24 households in Songjeong-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan, 129 households in Yangsan, and 78 households in Gimhae, totaling 231 households.
Iron gates were also knocked down by sea winds. According to Busan Fire Department, at around 7:13 p.m. the previous day, a 4-meter iron gate of a building in Marine City, Haeundae-gu, collapsed, and firefighters who responded to the report took safety measures.
Additionally, in Chungbuk, four cases of fallen trees and one case of debris removal were handled, and in Daegu, seven cases of wind damage occurred, all of which were safely managed by local fire authorities.

No fatal accidents have been reported yet. However, in Ulsan, a report was received around 1 a.m. that a man in his 20s went missing near Namcheon Bridge in Eonyang-eup, Ulju-gun, and fire authorities are conducting search operations.
