Kyungbok University Holds 'Youth Employment Practical Council' with Local Related Organizations
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University’s University Job Center held a Youth Employment Working Council meeting.
The Youth Employment Working Council was established in 2019 to provide youth employment services and operate joint and linked programs through collaboration with related organizations in the Namyangju area, and it is held annually.
Kyungbok University announced on the 5th that it recently held the first Youth Employment Working Council meeting of 2022 at the Namyangju campus.
The meeting was attended by 18 people, including representatives from six public institutions related to youth employment such as Uijeongbu Employment Welfare Plus Center, Namyangju City Job Welfare Team, Future Talent Division Youth Policy Team, Namyangju Employment Welfare Plus Center National Employment Support System Team, Namyangju Women’s Job Center, Gyeonggi Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Geumgok High School, and officials from Kyungbok University’s University Job Center.

Ham Do-hoon, Director of Employment and University Job Center at Kyungbok University, emphasized, "I hope this will be an opportunity for local organizations to join forces to help youth employment and for the local community to coexist together," adding, "The University Job Center will contribute to community development and youth job creation through program development in collaboration with the council."
