Donation of 140 Bags of Rice Worth 3 Million Won
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Taegochongnim Seonamsa Temple (Chief Monk Sigak) announced on the 5th that it donated 140 bags of rice (10kg per bag, worth about 3 million KRW) to the Seungju-eup Administrative Welfare Center, asking them to be delivered to neighbors in need for Chuseok.
The donated goods will be distributed to 140 vulnerable households in the area.
Seonamsa Temple, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2018 and recognized globally for its value, donates relief supplies every holiday to help neighbors in need in Seungju-eup, continuing warm acts of kindness in the local community.
