The postponement applies to conscripts who themselves or whose family members have been affected by the typhoon. Those who have received notices for military service physical examinations, active duty enlistment, social service personnel, or military mobilization training summons can apply for postponement. However, the postponement is only possible within 60 days from the date of the military service physical examination or enlistment (summons). Applications can be made via phone, the website, or the Military Manpower Administration’s application (app).
Meanwhile, to minimize typhoon damage, the Military Manpower Administration will temporarily suspend military service physical examinations at six examination centers?Busan, Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Gwangju-Jeonnam, Daejeon-Chungnam, Gyeongnam, and the Central Physical Examination Center?on the 5th and 6th.
