Environmental Cleanup Activities Conducted Mainly Around Namji Riverside Road and Namji Sports Park
Employees of Namji-eup Office in Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam, village chiefs, and members of related organizations and groups are taking a commemorative photo after completing the cleanup activity.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Namji-eup, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam, carried out a green Changnyeong beautification and environmental cleanup activity centered around Namja Riverside Road and Namji Sports Park on the 1st to provide a pleasant environment for returnees and residents visiting their hometown for Chuseok.
The event was held with about 70 participants including Lee Panam, head of Namji Nonghyup, village chiefs, related organizations and groups, and public officials, strictly adhering to individual quarantine rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We removed weeds and collected various trash from the entrance of Namji Interchange, where returnees pass through, along Namja Riverside Road, and also promoted proper waste disposal and eradication of illegal burning at the nearby Namji Sports Park.
