According to Live Nation Korea, a concert planning company, Sarah Brightman will hold a Christmas Symphony concert at the KBS Arena on December 3rd.
Sarah Brightman is a soprano with a vocal range spanning over three octaves, transcending genres such as classical, pop, and musicals, and is one of the most commercially successful sopranos worldwide.
The original cast soundtrack, in which she played Christine in the musical The Phantom of the Opera, gained tremendous popularity and sold over 40 million copies worldwide. The duet "Time to Say Goodbye" with tenor Andrea Bocelli recorded sales of 12 million copies globally.
Additionally, albums such as "Timeless" (1997), which topped the Billboard Classical chart for 35 weeks, "Eden" (1998), and "Symphony" (2008) reached number one on the classical crossover album charts and sold over 30 million copies. Her world tours attracted attention every time with astronomical production costs, fantastic stage productions using cutting-edge equipment, dazzling costumes, and her astonishing voice.
Sarah Brightman first performed in Korea in 2004 with the "Harem World Tour," and subsequently performed in Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Daegu, and Gwangju during the "Symphony World Tour" in 2009, "Sarah Brightman in Concert with Orchestra" in 2010, "Dreamchaser World Tour" in 2013, and "Gala: Evening with Sarah Brightman" in 2016.
