Deputy General Manager Jeong Byeong-jin of Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation Selected as 'Master Craftsman of Korea' in Printing and Publishing Field

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Jeong Byeong-jin, Deputy General Manager of the ID Headquarters at Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, has been named a 'Master Craftsman of Korea.'
According to the Minting Corporation on the 2nd, Deputy General Manager Jeong was selected as a Master Craftsman of Korea in the printing and publishing field at the '2022 Month of Vocational Competency' ceremony held the previous day, receiving a certificate and a nameplate.
The Master Craftsman of Korea is an award given by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to skilled technicians who have worked in industrial sites for more than 15 years, possess the highest level of expertise, and have contributed to technological advancement and the improvement of their status.
A total of 19 people were named Master Craftsmen of Korea this year.
Deputy General Manager Jeong is the second person from the Minting Corporation to receive the Master Craftsman award, following employee Lee Sam-ro in 2013.
Jeong, who joined the Minting Corporation in 1991, has continuously devoted efforts to technological development and process improvement in printing.
Since joining, he has mainly worked in the security printing field for securities, and is evaluated as having the highest level of technical skills in special printing with applied security technology within the company.

Deputy General Manager Jeong said, "I am honored to be named a Master Craftsman of Korea in the printing and publishing field," adding, "I will strive to develop technology and nurture juniors so that they can also join the ranks of Master Craftsmen of Korea."
