Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Shop Delivers Holiday Gifts to Low-Income Elderly Living Alone

At the Community Chest of Korea building in Jung-gu, Seoul, an employee of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free is delivering holiday gift sets.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 1st that it has delivered 300 "Holiday Gift Sets" to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea to support low-income elderly living alone who are facing difficulties in daily life ahead of Chuseok.
The holiday gift sets consist of convenient meals such as instant rice, soup, and side dishes that are easy for the elderly to prepare. They are planned to be delivered to low-income elderly living alone aged 60 and above residing in the area through Gangnam Senior Plaza in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Yurak Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Jung-gu, and Senior Welfare Center in Jung-gu, Incheon.
Since 2019, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free has designated seven socially vulnerable groups, including low-income elderly, disabled persons, single mothers, and children, as part of its corporate social responsibility and has been steadily carrying out social contribution activities to support them every year.
