Jangseong-gun Promotes Support Projects for Small Business Owners Including Store Rent Assistance
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 31st that it will promote support projects for small business owners in the region to reduce their economic burden and help them settle stably.
The county will provide support for store rent, loan interest differential compensation, and credit guarantee fees to small business owners who have business sites and addresses within Jangseong-gun.
Store rent support will be provided up to 4 million KRW per year to small business owners who have rented and operated stores since August 31, 2019.
Loan interest differential compensation will support interest corresponding to 3% up to 2 million KRW per year for a maximum of 3 years by Jangseong-gun.
Credit guarantee fees will be supported up to 1 million KRW within a 3-year period for credit guarantee fees charged by guarantee institutions.
Small business owners wishing to apply can visit and submit the application form and required documents to the Economic and Transportation Division by the 30th of next month.

A county official said, “We hope this will help stabilize the management and relieve the financial burden of small business owners who are experiencing great difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and economic recession,” adding, “We will continue to do our best for the recovery of the local economy and the increase of small business owners’ income.”
Meanwhile, since the 22nd, the county has started paying the ‘Small Business Owners COVID-19 Overcoming Support Fund,’ a pledge project of the 8th local government, and has so far provided support funds of about 115 million KRW to 573 people.
