Furniture Expo 'KOFUN' Held at KINTEX from 25th to 28th... "Chance to Win Casper Provided"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The "Korea International Furniture & Interior Industry Fair (KOFURN, KOFUN)" showcasing the latest furniture design trends will be held from the 25th to the 28th at KINTEX in Ilsan.
The furniture exhibition KOFURN, held over four days including the weekend, will take place this year using Halls 1 and 2 of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, featuring around 1,200 booths from over 200 companies across 9 countries.
Participating companies from various sectors of the furniture industry include home and office furniture, interior accessories, design furniture, woodworking machinery, raw and subsidiary materials, DIY tools, and specialized furniture and interior books. Overseas companies will also participate for the first time in three years since COVID-19. Major participating brands include sofa specialist brand Jacomo, Emons Furniture, Hanssem, Tempur, Dax Furniture, Dijart, Allwood, Incasa, and Woami.
More than 30 pieces of design furniture featuring original ideas from emerging designers and furniture design students will be showcased, offering insights into the latest furniture design trends and future furniture design concepts. Additional programs for new business creation include MD-invited purchasing consultations, imported furniture purchasing consultations, the Korean Furniture Society’s autumn academic conference, and an Amazon Korea U.S. market entry briefing session.
The Korea Furniture Industry Cooperative Federation, the event organizer, is celebrating its 60th anniversary by planning events for visitors. They offer a chance to win a Hyundai Motor Casper through a raffle, with one raffle ticket given for every 1 million KRW spent by purchasers, and the drawing will be held on the last day of the exhibition. Additionally, Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid members who visit the site will receive gifts on a first-come, first-served basis and special benefits for on-site purchases.
