S-Oil, Administrative Suspension of 8 Production Processes at Onsan Plant
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] S-Oil announced on the 23rd that it has been imposed a 14-day suspension order by the Onsan Fire Station in Ulsan Metropolitan City for four major processes and four auxiliary processes at the Onsan Plant. The suspension amount is 739.1 billion KRW, which corresponds to 2.7% of total sales.

The suspension is due to a violation of Article 6, Paragraph 1 of the Hazardous Materials Safety Control Act, and the company plans to respond by filing a provisional injunction to suspend the execution of the administrative disposition and a lawsuit to cancel the administrative disposition.
