"Let's Tour a Tofu Factory in Virtual Space"… Pulmuone Builds Tofu Factory in Zepeto
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Pulmuone announced on the 23rd that it has established the 'Pulmuone Tofu Factory' on the metaverse platform Zepeto, operating a program that offers live tours showcasing the excellence of tofu and plant-based protein products, as well as hands-on tofu-making experiences.
Recently, Pulmuone opened the 'Pulmuone Tofu Factory' on the metaverse platform, faithfully replicating the Pulmuone Eumseong Tofu Factory. The virtual space includes various content such as ▲tofu production process line ▲Wellness Kitchen (plant-based food experience zone) ▲eco-friendly energy experience zone ▲quiz mission zone, among others. Visitors can experience the factory in a space similar to the real one without physically visiting the factory, and after the tour, they can also participate in an online tofu-making program.
Starting next month, Pulmuone plans to launch the 'Metaverse Pulmuone Tofu Factory Live Tour.' The company has transformed its representative consumer-facing tour program into a non-face-to-face metaverse experience, expanding opportunities for children to participate. The program is designed for children aged 7 to 13 to join together with their parents. In the virtual space, participants can experience the process of making tofu and tofu-processed foods through avatars and join online classes for making tofu or tofu dishes.
The program will be held three times a month from September, every Wednesday at 4 PM for 60 minutes. Parents with children aged 7 to 13 can participate. Applicants will receive tofu and tofu dish-making kits and an instruction booklet delivered to their homes, and they can join the class via Zoom on the scheduled date. Since the program is conducted on two platforms, Zoom and Zepeto, only households with two or more media devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc.) can apply.
To apply, visit the Pulmuone factory tour website, verify your identity, and make a reservation. Applications for the September tours are open until the 30th of this month, and participants can select their preferred session. Each session is limited to 14 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and participation is free of charge. Applications for subsequent months can be made through the website starting from the third week of each month.
