Chung-Ang University Hospital Introduces Unmanned Automatic Assignment System for Radiology Examinations
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Chung-Ang University Hospital recently announced on the 22nd that, as part of the next-generation comprehensive medical information system construction, it has introduced an ‘Unmanned Automatic Assignment System for Radiology Examinations’ as a digital healthcare technology.
Previously, patients had to take a number ticket at the radiology reception desk and wait to be assigned to an examination room by staff for imaging tests such as X-ray, CT, and MRI. This has been replaced by a kiosk system that allows patients to register for all radiology examinations at once and automatically assigns the examination room.
The introduction of this new system is expected to improve the inconvenience of having to wait a long time to register for imaging tests after consultation and provide greater convenience to patients.
