View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Bo-ryeong] Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok emphasized, "Please support by joining the party so that Yoon Hae-gwan (key associates of President Yoon Seok-yeol) can retire from politics with honor."
On the 20th, Lee stated this on his Facebook, saying, "Saturday is a good day to join the party." He attached a link for party membership in the post.
He continued, "You can quickly join in 3 minutes," and explained, "If you pay party dues of 1,000 won or more, you become a responsible party member after 3 months and can help support Yoon Hae-gwan's honorable retirement."
Since his press conference on the 13th, Lee has continued to criticize President Yoon Seok-yeol and Yoon Hae-gwan daily. Regarding President Yoon, he said, "Seeing the Ulsan meeting or thumbs-up gestures in the National Assembly, I thought, 'Well, there might have been some issues, but if the election results are good, this much is acceptable.' Because, as far as I perceived, the president emphasized a very magnanimous image, so I thought, 'We can naturally overlook those things,' but since that was not the case, it was surprising," and added, "I think the public was deceived, and I was deceived as well."
From the 18th until the day before, he also engaged in an online debate with Jang Ye-chan, chairman of the Youth Foundation from the pro-Yoon faction. Jang, who was the head of the Youth Headquarters of Yoon Seok-yeol's presidential campaign and led the Youth Communication Task Force of the Presidential Transition Committee, told Lee, "For the success of the Yoon Seok-yeol government and party reform, former leader Lee should first reflect and show responsible political leadership before blaming others." In response, Lee replied with a comment saying, "Okay, Ye-chan, if that helps you live better, I will support you."
