According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 15th, the rain falling in the Seoul metropolitan area from that night is expected to stop by dawn. However, in the Chungcheong region, rain is expected to continue until the morning of the 16th, and in some parts of the Gangwon East Coast and southern regions, rain will intermittently fall until the afternoon of the 16th. From the afternoon, the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Jeonbuk will gradually clear up.
Expected rainfall amounts are 30 to 100 mm in the southern Chungcheong region and southern regions excluding the Gyeongsang East Coast, with some places receiving over 150 mm of rain. The Gangwon East Coast, southern coast of Gyeongnam, eastern Gyeongsang region excluding the Gangwon East Coast, Jeju Island, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo are expected to receive about 10 to 60 mm of rainfall.
The morning low temperature is expected to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'good' due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of rain.
