Samsung Fire & Marine Direct Driver Insurance Surpasses 400,000 Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 15th that the number of direct driver insurance customers has surpassed 400,000.
Driver insurance is a product that compensates for criminal and administrative liabilities arising from death or one of the 12 major negligent driving accidents involving a vehicle. Upon subscription, coverage includes driver fines, traffic accident support funds, attorney fees, and more.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's direct insurance has continued its growth each year, surpassing 100,000 customers in September 2016, 200,000 in January 2019, and 300,000 in November 2020.
Recently, as drivers' legal responsibilities have increased, the driver insurance market has also expanded. Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Direct is attracting customers by launching various products.
A representative example is the couple-type driver insurance special contract, which allows spouses to be covered together. Additional insured persons and special contracts enable coverage for both spouses.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance has also launched products targeting customers with low vehicle usage, such as the 'Direct Mileage Driver Insurance,' which offers up to 10% accumulation based on launch date and mileage, and the 'OnOff Mini Driver Insurance,' which provides coverage only during actual driving distance.
