Providing Communication and Empathy Opportunities for Cancer Survivors
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Kyung Hee Medical Center Humanitas Cancer Hospital announced on the 12th that it held the 'Going On Diary Season 2' exhibition to provide cancer survivors with opportunities for communication and empathy.
Sponsored by Olympus Korea, this exhibition was planned to improve social awareness of cancer and support cancer patients' reintegration into society. The campaign name carries the meaning that their beautiful lives "continue (Going on)" even after a cancer diagnosis.
At this exhibition, photos and diaries shared by program participants are displayed, and Kyung Hee Medical Center explained that it is expected to promote a correct understanding of cancer and encourage recovery among viewers.
During the program, participants used a mobile diary application (Three-line Diary) to express their emotions or experiences in short texts and photos according to given themes such as happiness, praise, gratitude, and sharing, and shared them together. They also spent time emotionally supporting each other by talking about their daily lives through online meetings.
