Hankook Tire Volunteers for 'Voice Donation' to Support Children with Reading Difficulties
About 100 Employees Record a Children's Picture Book
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced on the 11th that its employees have participated in a "voice donation" volunteer activity to help children who have difficulty reading.
This volunteer activity was organized for Hankook Tire employees to directly participate in recording fairy tale books to provide language skill improvement and emotional connection to vulnerable children who are not familiar with reading, such as those with visual impairments or from neglected families. In particular, it is expected to support the learning environment for vulnerable children who are prone to learning gaps due to the recent resurgence of COVID-19.

About 100 employees working at Hankook Tire's headquarters, Technoplex, are participating in the voice talent donation. Recordings were completed three times on the 15th and 29th of last month and the 5th of this month at the Jamong Media Center located in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The fourth recording is scheduled for the 19th. The completed audiobooks will be delivered to vulnerable children at facilities for the visually impaired, residential facilities for disabled children, special schools, and others.
