Jaguar Land Rover Korea Hosts Service Capability Competition of the Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Jaguar Land Rover Korea announced on the 5th that it held the ‘Service Competency Competition of the Year,’ a contest where retailer technicians and service advisors compete in service capabilities.
Jaguar Land Rover Korea held this competition on the 25th of last month to boost the motivation of technicians and service advisors and to commend the efforts of employees who have provided the best service to customers with excellent work skills, aiming to improve customer service quality.
This year’s Service Competency Competition was divided into the retailer technician category and the service advisor category. A total of 110 technicians participated, with 5 advancing to the finals, while 120 advisors competed, with 6 reaching the final round.
In the technician category, Lee Deok-woo, a technician at KCC Automobile Seongnam Service Center, who demonstrated outstanding skills and capabilities, took first place. Following him, Son Seung-jae, a technician at British Auto Pyeongchon Service Center, won second place, and Kim Seon-jin, a technician at Cheonil Automobile Daechi Service Center, earned third place.
The winner of the service advisor category was Kim Kyung-deok from Cheonil Automobile Suwon Service Center, with Lee Cheol-hee from Cheonil Automobile Seongsu Service Center and Kim Min-wook from Ajunetworks Hannam Service Center taking second and third place, respectively.
Jaguar Land Rover Korea awarded each category winner a prize of 1 million KRW and tickets to the Formula E event held in Seoul on the 13th and 14th as a reward. Additionally, the technician category winner will receive the privilege of representing Korea at the ‘Global Technician of the Year Competition’ scheduled for September.
