Kyungbok University Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Vision Declaration... 'From Potential to Expert'
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University recently announced its 'Vision 2030 and Mid-to-Long-Term Development Plan' at Udang Art Hall on the Namyangju campus in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Vision 2030 (Cultivating Talents, Training Champions) was prepared with a focus on presenting the future direction regarding the university's survival and social responsibility through Kyungbok University's sustainable growth and competitive advantage. The new vision embodies the meaning of nurturing students' potential into experts through innovative education.
As a mid-to-long-term development plan to achieve the vision, Kyungbok University proposed the university's digital strategy, "Completion of Digital Transformation," the student success strategy, "Establishment of Customized Services from the Student Success Perspective," the internal and external expansion and sharing strategy, "Strengthening the Brand Based on Glocal Network Activities," and "Securing Sustainability through ESG Management."
Kim Kyung-bok, Acting President of Kyungbok University, stated, "Kyungbok University, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, has achieved remarkable results through innovative education and is recognized internally and externally as a university with excellent educational capabilities. Kyungbok University ranked first in integrated employment rate among metropolitan area universities (with over 2,000 graduates) for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2021, as announced by the Ministry of Education, and ranked first nationwide in employment rate among universities with over 2,000 graduates in 2020 and 2021.
