On the 3rd, KCIS announced that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Development of the Financial Industry and National Health Insurance System" with NHIS. The agreement aims to enhance financial stability through strengthened risk management in the financial industry and promote social security by reinforcing the soundness of health insurance finances.
Accordingly, both organizations will continuously identify data linkage cooperation projects in the future and maintain mutual collaboration on joint research aimed at reducing financial costs for groups with limited financial history, such as young adults entering society and housewives.
Additionally, to encourage voluntary payment of overdue health, pension, employment, and industrial accident insurance premiums, they will actively cooperate on ongoing projects such as sharing overdue information from workplaces and information on unjust enrichment overdue payments.
Shin Hyun-jun, President of KCIS, stated, "I hope that practical cooperative projects will be promoted in a direction that improves public welfare by utilizing public information and credit information."
