"CJ CheilJedang Launches 'Bibigo Wang Gyoja Light' with 25% Fewer Calories"
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ CheilJedang announced on the 2nd that it has launched ‘Bibigo Wang Gyoja Light,’ which has 25% fewer calories.
The new product comes in three varieties: ‘Wang Gyoja,’ ‘Kimchi Wang Gyoja,’ and ‘Chicken Breast Wang Gyoja.’ The filling contains lean pork or chicken breast, and instead of glass noodles, it uses konjac noodles to reduce calories while delivering a light and clean taste. Additionally, konjac powder is added to the dumpling skin to create a chewy texture.
CJ CheilJedang plans to continue releasing ‘Light’ products that strictly consider calories, sodium, and saturated fat, starting with ‘Bibigo Wang Gyoja Light.’ Through this, the company aims to meet consumers’ rising expectations in line with wellness trends and elevate the quality of processed foods.
