Hapcheon’s Representative Festival, the 38th ‘Daeya Cultural Festival’ Held

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] One of the representative festivals of Hapcheon, Gyeongnam, the ‘Hapcheon Daeya Cultural Festival,’ will be held from September 24 to 26 after a two-year hiatus, at Hapcheon Public Stadium and other locations throughout Hapcheon-eup.
The Daeya Cultural Festival Organizing Committee of Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, held an executive committee meeting on the 18th at the Cultural and Arts Center Daeya Cultural Festival Headquarters, attended by over 40 executive committee members and related personnel, where they resolved to hold the ‘33rd Residents’ Day, 41st Residents’ Sports Competition, and 38th Daeya Cultural Festival’ and finalized the event schedule.
The ‘Hapcheon Daeya Cultural Festival’ was canceled for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but to promote residents’ unity and cultural enjoyment, it will be held over three days from September 24 to 26 at Hapcheon Public Stadium, Ilhae Park, Residents’ Gymnasium, and other locations throughout Hapcheon-eup, featuring various exhibitions, performances, folk sports competitions, a pre-event parade, and other diverse programs. The first subcommittee meeting for practical preparations was held on July 29.
