Venture Business Association to Hold Memorial Week for Late Honorary Chairman Lee Minhwa Starting Next Month 1
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Venture Business Association will operate a memorial week to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the passing of Honorary Chairman Lee Min-hwa, a pioneer of the domestic venture ecosystem and its first chairman.
The 3rd anniversary memorial week, held from the 1st to the 5th of next month, aims to honor Honorary Chairman Lee, who devoted himself to the development of the venture ecosystem, and to celebrate his achievements and legacy.
The Korea Venture Business Association has designated the 'Lee Min-hwa Library' within its office in Guro-gu, Seoul, as the official memorial hall, which will be open to anyone wishing to visit.
On the anniversary date, August 3rd, a memorial ceremony will be held with the attendance of the bereaved family and the association’s honorary chairmen. An online memorial space will also be provided for visitors to offer flowers and post tribute messages.
