According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office system at 7:30 a.m. on the 26th, 'Alien+Human' Part 1 surpassed a cumulative audience of 1,014,529.
'Alien+Human' Part 1 is a film depicting a story that unfolds when the gate of time opens between Taoists trying to obtain the legendary divine sword from the late Goryeo period and those chasing an alien prisoner imprisoned inside a human body in 2022. It is a work presented by CJ ENM as a summer market tentpole film.
Director Choi Dong-hoon, who became a double 10-million director with 'The Thieves' (2012) and 'Assassination' (2015), regained his reputation by surpassing the 1 million mark within 6 days with 'Alien+Human' Part 1, released after 8 years.
