PHC Opens Korea's First Experiential Healthcare Retail Store... Offering Personalized Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] PHC, a digital healthcare specialized company led by CEO Choi Inhwan, announced on the 22nd that it will open Korea's first healthcare retail flagship store linking experiential healthcare services with retail business models.
The healthcare retail flagship store is located in ‘Lacmong,’ a comprehensive shopping center in Dongtan Lake Park, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi Province. It is the flagship experiential store of ‘MoHe’s,’ the brand of its own healthcare retail business model Smart Care Zone.
At the store, various measuring devices are used to assess individual health, and based on the measurement results, personalized health products (health functional foods, meal kits, medical devices, cosmetics, etc.) are recommended, providing specialized personalized services to consumers who have recently shown increased interest in health.
MoHe’s, which initially opened a Smart Care Zone health functional food specialty store at NC Gangseo Branch, has added various services and products to become Korea’s first experiential healthcare retail specialty store. It consists of an Experience Zone, a Retail Zone, and an Event Zone.
In the Experience Zone, customers can measure their personal health status using more than 10 different experiential devices, including skin and scalp measurement, stress, and musculoskeletal health, and check the results in real-time through the company’s dedicated MoHe’s app.
Based on individual health measurement results, customers can easily purchase a variety of products suitable for their health condition in the Retail Zone. The Retail Zone sells over 600 types of healthcare-related products, including cosmetics, health functional foods, medical devices, and meal kits.
A PHC official stated, “MoHe’s store is the first healthcare-related experiential retail service store never attempted before in Korea or abroad, where customers can receive recommendations for personalized products through actual health measurements and purchase them. It is a store that maximizes visual and entertainment value as well as health promotion effects.” He added, “It is a new-concept healthcare business model attracting much attention not only domestically but also internationally, offering an omnichannel healthcare shopping mall that supports both offline stores and online shopping through a dedicated app.”
