The delegation stated, "As the situation prolongs, the suffering of the residents intensifies, and on behalf of the 3.4 million residents, we express our regret."
They added, "President Yoon has dispatched the Ministers of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Employment and Labor to the site to find a clue for resolution," and "Governor Park Wan-su has also visited the site and is attempting various discussions at the Gyeongnam provincial level."
They said, "The floor leader group is currently closely sharing information with the provincial executive branch and is closely monitoring the situation," and "especially, three provincial assembly members from the Geoje area are stationed locally and have secured channels through various routes."
They continued, "According to the provincial assembly members from the Geoje area, among the subcontracted branch's demands, issues related to treatment have approached the level of labor-management agreement, but there are disagreements regarding union full-time staff and securing union offices," and reported that there are difficulties in reaching a comprehensive agreement.
