JB Financial is diversifying its business portfolio by incorporating Mega Investment, a specialized venture investment company, as a subsidiary following its banking, capital, and asset management businesses. Earlier, JB Financial signed an acquisition agreement at the end of May and acquired 100% of the shares last month, incorporating Mega Investment as a subsidiary.

JB Financial stated, "Through the acquisition of JB Investment, we plan to collaborate with investment finance business lines within the group, including Jeonbuk Bank, Gwangju Bank, JB Woori Capital, and JB Asset Management, to create various synergies including building a value chain for corporate investment," adding, "We intend to further expand our non-bank profit base."
