Agreement Signed for Transportation Sector in Changwon City Regional Hub Smart City Development Project
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam signed a business agreement in the field of transportation with the Road Traffic Authority, Jinhae Police Station, and Changwon Industry Promotion Agency.

On the 20th at 11 a.m., the city signed a business agreement in the transportation sector of the Changwon regional hub smart city development project with the Road Traffic Authority, Jinhae Police Station, and Changwon Industry Promotion Agency.
This business agreement was prepared to promote the utilization of communication big data-based C-ITS (Cooperative-Intelligent Transport Systems) collected through the Changwon regional hub smart city development project and to establish a smart signal system.
The main agreement items include ▲ provision of traffic data necessary for the creation and operation of smart cities in the transportation sector ▲ improvement of signal systems using Changwon city traffic data ▲ support for infrastructure construction according to smart city development ▲ support for providing services necessary for smart city operation.
Through this, the city will collect and provide traffic data for all sections within the jurisdiction and real-time traffic information for major congestion areas, while the Road Traffic Authority and Jinhae Police Station will operate a smart signal system using the data to provide services suited to the changing traffic environment.
