This training was conducted for schools operating behavioral intervention support for students with disabilities and special education support center staff this year. Special education teachers who participated in last year's behavioral intervention project were invited as instructors to share best practices and discuss successful behavioral intervention support.
The Office of Education provides a budget of 2.3 million KRW per student to operate behavioral intervention programs for 13 students in the province who urgently need behavioral intervention among special education students.
At the schools where these students belong, behavioral intervention programs such as the 'Geumjjok Counseling Center for Students with Disabilities' are operated through processes including 'Functional Behavioral Assessment' together with behavioral experts (behavior analysts).
