Jindo-gun Conducts Life-Sharing Blood Donation Campaign of Love
From 10 AM on the 20th, Jindo County Office and Jindo Myeongpumgwan Parking Lot
[Jindo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, is conducting life-sharing and love blood donation to overcome the difficulties in blood supply caused by COVID-19 and other factors.
This blood donation event, held in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center, will take place on the 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the parking lot in front of the Jindo-gun Office Civil Service Room and the Jindo Premium Hall parking lot.
Jindo-gun's blood donation plan for this year is four times, but blood donations will be conducted as needed if institutions and social organizations or residents express their willingness to participate.
A Jindo-gun Public Health Center official said, "We plan to strictly follow quarantine rules so that many people can participate in blood donation with confidence," and added, "Active participation in blood donation is necessary so that patients in urgent need of transfusion can continue their precious lives."
