Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Opens Employment and Entrepreneurship Training Courses for Career-Interrupted Women
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is launching the 'Women IT Vocational Training Program' to support employment for women with career interruptions.
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation announced on the 19th that it will open five courses next month: ▲ JavaScript (Java) Utilization ▲ Video Editing Producer ▲ Shopping Mall Solution Master ▲ Emoticon Creator ▲ Digital Design Practical Course, and will recruit 100 trainees.
The foundation will select trainees through interviews, prioritizing high scores, targeting unemployed women and women with career interruptions in the province. All courses will be conducted both online and offline, 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. Offline classes will be held at the foundation's Women's Capability Development Headquarters (Yongin).
In addition to the training courses, the foundation will provide employment linkage services such as one-on-one customized employment consulting, job interview preparation training, portfolio coaching, and job matching for the trainees.
The application deadline varies by course and is scheduled from the 12th to the 19th of next month.

A foundation official stated, "Last year, the employment and entrepreneurship rate of graduates from the Women IT Vocational Training Program exceeded 70%, and the employment and entrepreneurship rate with related companies reached 96%." He added, "Especially, the Emoticon Creator course was the most popular among trainees, with an average employment and entrepreneurship rate of 98.7%."
