CJ ENM Studios Appoints Director Yoon Je-kyun as New CEO
Content Division Head... Existing CEO Hayongsu to Oversee Management Division
Director Yoon Je-kyun, known for films such as 'Haeundae' and 'Ode to My Father', has been appointed as the new CEO of CJ ENM Studios. CJ ENM announced on the 18th that the new CEO Yoon will oversee the content division, while the existing CEO Ha Yong-soo will manage the business division.
CJ ENM Studios is an in-house content studio established by CJ ENM in April. It produces multi-genre content aimed at domestic and international over-the-top (OTT) streaming services. CEO Yoon joined the CJ Group when CJ ENM acquired the production company JK Film in 2016. He demonstrated outstanding production capabilities by leading the box office successes of films such as 'Confidential Assignment' and 'Keys to the Heart'.

Meanwhile, CJ ENM appointed Oh Kwang-hee, CEO of Bon Factory, as the head of the content division at CJ ENM Studios. He is the mastermind behind dramas such as 'Work Later, Drink Now', 'Encounter', and 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim'. CJ ENM acquired Bon Factory in 2019. A CJ ENM official stated, "We plan to accelerate the establishment of a K-content mass production system to stably respond to the rapidly increasing global demand for K-content."
