[Seoul District News] Geumcheon-gu Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Nanum2900 for Vulnerable Groups Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held a business agreement ceremony on the 14th with the SNS donation group ‘Nanum 2900’ (representative Lee Jae-hyun) to support vulnerable groups.
Nanum 2900 is an SNS group voluntarily formed by citizens in 2014 with the purpose of helping families in the welfare blind spots of the social safety net to become self-reliant, triggered by the case of the ‘Songpa 3 Mothers’ who passed away leaving 700,000 won for rent and utility bills.
Nanum 2900 pledged to donate a total of 18.3 million won over one year to four families in Geumcheon-gu, including three families for regular support and one family for temporary support.
The donation will be provided to selected families through the Seoul Social Welfare Community Chest.
Representative Lee Jae-hyun said, “We will continue to carry out donation activities to support the self-reliance of families in welfare blind spots.”
