Institutional Buying Continues, KOSPI Rises... KOSDAQ Also Up
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The KOSPI index, which had turned downward, is recording an intraday rise as institutional buying continues.
As of 10:05 a.m. on the 4th, the KOSPI index stood at 2308.67, up 3.25 points (0.14%) compared to the previous trading day. The index, which had been falling due to foreign selling, showed an upward trend thanks to institutional buying. Institutions made net purchases worth approximately 116.8 billion KRW, while individuals and foreigners made net sales of about 15.9 billion KRW and 100.7 billion KRW, respectively.

The KOSDAQ index is also on the rise. At the same time, the KOSDAQ index was recorded at 731.26, up 1.78 points (0.24%) from the previous trading day. Individuals led the index increase with net purchases worth about 37.1 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions made net sales of approximately 36.5 billion KRW and 0.3 billion KRW, respectively.
