Didim, Launch of 'Natural Mineral Rice' Ready for Immediate Cooking
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Didim announced on the 1st that it has launched natural mineral rice that can be cooked immediately after washing with 72 minerals extracted from Dokdo deep ocean water.
'Rice washed with Mineral 水' is a product developed through long-term testing and research by Didim. Unlike regular rice, the surface of the rice is washed with mineral-diluted water extracted from the deep ocean water of the clean area of Dokdo to enhance nutrition.
There is no need for processes such as washing or soaking the rice, making it ready for cooking immediately. When supplied to franchise stores, it can reduce the burden of labor and time, thereby increasing kitchen work efficiency.
Didim's dining brands Baekjewon and Tokyo Hana provide rice with added minerals to enhance umami and nutrition. During the rice cooking process at the stores, 72 minerals are directly added. The rice served contains more than four times the magnesium compared to regular rice.
'Rice washed with Mineral 水' will be supplied to all Didim brands, starting with Yeonan Sikdang.
A Didim official said, "Minerals are essential nutrients for maintaining metabolic functions and homeostasis in the body," adding, "We will continue to provide differentiated ingredients through the launch and supply of various exclusive products utilizing minerals."
