Dongwon The Banchan& Launches 3 Types of 'Korean Mushroom Dishes' with Chef Jo Hee-sook
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The home meal replacement (HMR) specialist online mall 'The Banchan&', operated by Dongwon Dear Food, announced on the 29th that it has launched three types of Korean mushroom dish HMRs (Braised Shiitake Mushrooms with Lotus Root, Mushroom Japchae, Perilla Mushroom Hot Pot) in collaboration with Chef Jo Hee-sook.
Chef Jo, known as the 'Godmother of Korean Cuisine' for over 40 years of research in Korean food, was selected as Asia's Best Female Chef at the 2020 'Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards.' Her Korean restaurant 'Hansik Gonggan' was also awarded a Michelin 1-star rating in the 2019 Michelin Guide, a globally renowned gourmet guide.
