Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station, Emergency Medical Services Students Ride Along Ambulance Training
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Northern Fire Station announced on the 27th that 35 students from the Department of Emergency Medical Services at Bogun University, Honam University, and Donggang University will begin ambulance ride-along training in two sessions of 4 weeks each, totaling 8 weeks.
This ride-along training was organized to provide students enrolled in emergency medical technician education programs at universities with field training opportunities, aiming to enhance their ability to respond to various emergency situations and to cultivate professional emergency medical personnel.
The trainees will be assigned to the ambulance teams at seven 119 Safety Centers under the Northern Fire Station, where they will learn ▲ assisting paramedics in field activities such as evaluating and treating emergency patients ▲ precautions regarding hazards during field activities ▲ usage instructions for major emergency equipment and supplies ▲ operation and management of wired and wireless communication devices.
