View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Department Store is conducting a customer participation safety campaign, "The Safer Republic of Korea," in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety ahead of the peak summer vacation season.
On the 27th, Hyundai Department Store announced that it signed a "Business Agreement on Disaster and Safety Management" at "The Hyundai Seoul" in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, attended by Hyundai Department Store President Kim Hyung-jong and Kim Sung-ho, Director General (Vice Minister) of the Disaster and Safety Management Headquarters at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Through this agreement, Hyundai Department Store and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety plan to cooperate mutually to manage safety in multi-use facilities. A Hyundai Department Store official explained, "This campaign was planned as part of efforts to raise public safety awareness and strengthen response capabilities to prevent safety accidents," adding, "Together with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, we will actively carry out customer participation safety campaigns that can raise awareness about safety management in multi-use facilities."
As part of this agreement, Hyundai Department Store and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will hold various events related to safety accidents. From today until the 3rd of next month, they will run the event "The Safer Quiz," where participants who answer quizzes about safety knowledge and response methods for crisis situations correctly will receive prizes. Participation is possible through links shared on Hyundai Department Store’s official website, Instagram, and YouTube. Among the participants, 31 winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as accommodation vouchers for Gangneung Sea Mark Hotel, LG CordZero A9 cordless vacuum cleaners, Nintendo Switch consoles, and Hyundai Department Store gift certificates (50,000 KRW).
