'Money Heist' Director Kim Hong-seon to Direct Coupang Play's 'Chronicles of Crime'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Director Kim Hong-seon is partnering with the online video service (OTT) Coupang Play.
On the 27th, Coupang Play announced that it will present 'Chronicles of Crime' (working title), inspired by a notorious case. The story delves into past unsolved cases through a heinous current incident and will begin filming in the second half of this year.
Director Kim, who previously directed the dramas 'Voice,' 'Black,' 'Son the Guest,' 'L.U.C.A.: The Beginning,' and Netflix's 'Money Heist: Korea ? Joint Economic Area,' stated, "I want to create a crime thriller with a new story structure and style that connects the past and present through specific ongoing incidents."
