Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Conducts Unannounced Emergency Rescue Control Team Drill
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 24th, the Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced that it conducted an unannounced emergency rescue control team activation drill to improve on-site response capabilities, including mission understanding, during the activation of the emergency rescue control team in response to various disasters.
The unannounced emergency rescue control team activation drill is conducted quarterly to comprehensively coordinate the activation procedures and emergency rescue matters during various disasters, clearly assign missions to each department and team, and master the ability to perform roles quickly, enabling active and flexible responses to disaster situations.
This drill assumed a scenario where an electrical fire occurred due to overheating of a conveyor belt at the ground floor loading dock of CJ Logistics Co., Ltd. Namgwangju Branch located in Songha-dong, Nam-gu, and the fire spread upward. Situation-specific messages applicable on-site were assigned, and the drill was conducted to establish a rapid response system suitable for the disaster situation.
