Teenage Brothers Who Killed Duck Living in River by Throwing Stones Caught by Police

On the 24th, the Dobong Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating two teenage youths on charges of violating the Wildlife Protection and Management Act.
The brothers threw stones multiple times at ducks in Banghakcheon, Dobong-gu, on the 13th and 16th. During this process, it is known that one adult female mallard was hit by a stone and died. They reportedly stated that they threw stones out of simple curiosity.
At the time of the incident, an investigator from the Intelligent Crime Investigation Team of Dobong Police Station posted a warning notice stating, "We will definitely track down and arrest the person who killed the ducks near Dobongcheon."
