KT Provides AI Care Services to Over 10 Households with Severe Disabilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 23rd that it will provide free 24-hour artificial intelligence (AI) care services to more than 10 households of severely disabled people transitioning out of facilities.
KT is linking AI speakers and IoT devices in more than 10 residential facilities for the severely disabled to create smart homes for their living spaces, and based on this, it provides free 24/7 AI care services throughout the year.
Severely disabled individuals with mobility difficulties can control home appliances such as lights, fans, humidifiers, air purifiers, and TVs with simple voice commands, and can also open and close curtains. They can remotely check visitors and open doors, and in emergencies, they can receive prompt assistance 24/7 through the KT Telecop-119 linked system.
